I assume you mean the ones that fix onto an LGB point motor.
They have a variety of uses such as making the points self isolating, polarity reversal for a reversing loop, polarity selection for a live frog point, signal operation or point detection.
The contacts are rated at 3A max so, if you intend using them for traction current for amp hungry trains consider using them to power the coils of higher power relays.
