Following My little Post on the No4 Stainz and the Pending Building of 1 new stainz and rebadging 2 others, Can People Suggest some Colours

the Current fleet are Light Green/Dark green/ Burgandy/Black for the Stlb

Light Green/Dark Green for the Sklgb


The Fire Train Stainz or Feuerloschrug I Plan on Red with Black chassis.

Current Thoughts are Oxford Blue, maybe a Dark Purple, Open to Suggestions, the 2 Sklgb Locos will be straight stacks

Oxford Blue sounds fun - you could go for the full British military railways dress uniform livery, with red wheels and white tyres :o This is WD600 'Gordon', though our V36 diesel shunter and at least one Austerity saddle tank had the same treatment and looked splendid.

Hard choice, but the long moor military railway livery as pictured above would look rather good,

But my view is pretty much any colour scheme looks good, especially if the chassis and cab are different colours, e.g dr style in black and red

I quite like the idea of a SR / L&B green one..

Rule 8.. Stop throwing stones!!
 
Better still, Muddle & Get Nowheres' "Golden Gorse".... :D
