Happy New Year!! Getting read to install my first garden railway. Running 2 stainz locos (separate tracks - will need help with DCC conversion later. One issue at a time). Currently running DC with both. One with a powered sound tender and another with the 20212. Just received the used 20212 and was testing out the sound on it. I get the chuff sound (very distorted but sound nonetheless), I have no bell or whistle sound utilizing the track magnets. Any idea what might be the cause of this? I've searched and found out that reed switches are used to activate these sounds however I have no idea if this loco has reed switches, where they are located or if this particular loco is even capable of the bell and whistle sounds. Happy to provide photos or anything else you may need. Appreciate the assist.
