As a frequent visitor to Oregon, I got my supply direct, thereby saving myself mega-amounts of money, even fifteen years ago when I made the 'big buy'.

They DO be expensive now, though. They are, however, the best there is - mine have been in situ for sixteen years without any breakdown in contact.

Have to concur.
They seem pricey, but, the joy of uninterrupted electrical continuity, in all weather conditions is worth every penny.

One of those thing that made ask, why did i wait so long.

Yes, clean, tight , new, greased joiners do well,(of which i was a devotee for over a decade, but always with issues in wet conditions) but, the split jaws are noticeably better.

It's all I use.

If you use the all stainless ones, you should use some anti-sieze or other high end lube on the screws. They can get a bit stuck after 10 years.
