Probably doing something silly but i changed my loco address and speed steps.
Loco address changed ok
Speed step stays at 28.
I want 14.
plus since re naming address the bell sound does not work.
On another loco all sounds have gone since i changed the address
Help!
Steve

What loco?
What decoder?
What CVs did you try and change?

Re:Speed step wont change!And more!!!

decoder=?&:(Its got lok
on the tender connection
lgb 26194
Just tried changing it on the Navi in the first part of address.
Did not change cv yet

Re:Speed step wont change!And more!!!

I discovered the hard way that a factory reset wiped the sounds on an ESU chip.
I suspect that you'll need the use of ESU's interface and software to sort it.
I have very little experience of DCC but if you don't get advice from those more experienced than me I suggest you give the U.K. agents a call.

Neil Ii think you will find it is factory fitted sound. I think the sound unit won't function above 22. Try a factory reset

I hope you're right Phil. When Mez said it had loksound on the tender I thought that may infer an ESU chip.

Re:Speed step wont change!And more!!!
