I presume you have actually read the listing, not just looked at the photo of one loco? He's actually selling a complete collection, claims it's around £2500 worth (I have no idea if that's right, or even close). There are 3 locos, 21 pieces of rolling stock, and several buildings plus controller, track and points. I agree he's been a bit daft to just post a pic of a single loco.....!

I reckon the starting price is about £600 too much, if you look at the lots, and work out what such have been fetching as individuals bits. 2jags was selling Bachman coaches at about £33.00 new recently, etc etc

I note that in the text of his listing he also spells Bachmann in two different ways , neither of them correctly

Trouble is, if literacy was a pre-requisite of listing on eBay, there wouldn't be many sellers left....

If you think some of the ones in the model listings are bad, you should try looking at some of the car ads!!!!!
