Sounds on an LGB American Steam Loco Sound Unit (65001)

I have 3 LGB 65001 American Steam Loco Sound Units, my question is, is there any way that I can lengthen the time that the bell will ring for?

When one accesses the software on this unit using a LGB programme/r there is no way known to me to adjust the number of times the bell rings. From memory it rings eight times, which for me is too long. Functions in the LGB sound units are fixed in manufacture during initial programming.
