Sound in LGB Shortie Tender Loco

I have the above loco, on analogue. Is it as simple as buying the LGB speaker unit and plugging it in?

Hi Paul.. i have one of these locos but i don't think it's as simple... i think you have to buy the board/sound decoder... then install it i'm not to sure if it already has a speaker built in...

I have a couple of these loco's, I've fitted LGB Sound units into the tender of each loco, and ESU loco chips into the loco it's self. Why not a sound decoder I hear you ask, simple, I had a spare sound unit, so I decided when I got the second loco to do the same so that they matched
