The MyLocoSound premium steam soundcards have been upgraded to work without an electric motor having to be connected. Therefore they can now be used with live steam locos. All that is needed is a chuff switch on one of the wheels and the loco will run with an accurate deep chuff. Other sounds like a whistle, bell, fireman shovelling coal, injectors, etc can be triggered by timer or via the radio control. Installation diagrams are at our web site.
