I don't mind a bit of festiveness, and can live with the layer of "snow" on the avatars and headings..... but PLEASE, can we kill those bl**dy falling snowflakes?
I don't know about anyone else, but for me they make everything extremely hard to read, and are enormously distracting - if we can't lose them altogether, can they at least be restricted to the backgorunds and not all over the postings themselves....?

There is a lot of the little blighters, are they breeding?
Send them down here and we can use them on our bushfires....

I think they are cool.... they move around, so I don't see why it's so hard to read.

Hurray for the Christmas spirit!

Greg

edit: I take it back, at first there were only about 20 flakes at a time on the screen, but on certain occasions there were close to 100 and often 5 of them on one single line of text.

Need to dial it back a little.

The flakes are eating up 12% of my CPU's time presumably calculating their "random" trajectories. Also causing my CPU's fan to come on. They really need to be dialed back.

Could be a lot worse, they could be really, which means that you're either sitting outside in the snow, or some b*gg*r has nicked your roof:nerd:

The snowflakes have been removed, shame snowflakes cant be removed from life in general.
There is a bug in the christmas add on, supposed to be a max of 25 snowflakes at a time, with average 15, seems it cant count as put hundreds on..
