Superb pics once again Graham. Those telegraph poles really do add a lot to what are already very realistic and atmospheric scenes.
 
Kevin the poles are about 6 ft apart IIRC. They are about 18 inches long with about 12 inches out of the ground, which makes them about 20 ft high in old money. (I usually use mtric but if we are in 15mm to the foot, feet seem the obvious units to use).

I did have a wander about at the Ffestiniog when I was deciding what size to make them (SWMBO thought it was a holiday :rofl: ) and these dimensions seemed about right. The standard gauge railways had bigger in all directions.

I do wish they had a taper on the poles but life is too short sometimes.
