The entire Chapelon 2-3-1 stable are elegant locos. The slender wheel spokes help in that respect.
There is no way I could ever model a working steam version but I am tempted by the OcCré kit of a 2-3-1K. At present I am trying to master their Adler kit. It is getting there gradually, very gradually, although it remains to be seen if it runs once finished.
