I have a R/C controlled 2095 BoBo diesel which carries it's own battery and R/C gear. How small a loco can I use to replicate this method?

I've seen an RHB Tm tractor with batteries fitted in the 'luggage space' and there would have been room to fit the R/C equipment if required?

Maybe a small battery and R/C could be fitted into a Kof or Shoema diesel, but I doubt if you could do the same for the 'Jonny' feldlok....

Would fit into a Schoema quite comfortably. I think Bram has done so?

I shall be trying exactly that next week. Dimensions look pretty straightforward (he said tempting the great raspberry of fate.... :banghead: )

If you are prepared to go for AAA cells, the space required for 12volts worth is pretty teeny, though the running time won't be humungous!

I've done a Schoema. Got 12 'AA' cells under the front bonnet, a 40MHz receiver under the rear bonnet, and an RCS Evo ESC fitted at floor level under the slightly trimmed control desk in the cab, with the aerial wrapped carefully around on the underside of the cab roof. LED headlights fitted as well :)

That sounds really cool - any chance of any pic's to 'see it in the flesh' ?

I can certainly take the bonnets and roof off to show the insides. If I get chance in the next few days I'll put up some pics. :)
