Having had a buying spree lately (2 Playmobil sets in one week. Wife is going nuts!) I have one loco chassis that I've had to break for parts. One of these..

So now I have a non powered chassis.
So what to do with it I thought?

Then I saw this...

So I'm thinking... 2 chassis, one powered with all the RC components and battery box. The battery box underneath the cab , the second non powered chassis grafted onto the back end of the first. After cutting off the now useless battery box.

Then scratch build the body on top.

How hard can it be? :D:D:D

Bodywork mostly flat panels.... only curved bits look to be the ends of the two "bonnets" and the cab roof..... shouldn't be that hard to do in styrene sheet?

A bit of time and care, plus a sharp scalpel, and I reckon you could do a nice job of it!
