I previously built a 3rd on an old LGB chassis

and a 1st/3rd/brake composite on a chassis of my own design

this build has been brought across to the "articles"

so I wanted to have a go at something a bit different - a 1st / 3rd / parcels, a bit longer on an 8 wheel (Roundhouse) bogie chassis
the new bogies assembled, next to the previous effort

cutting out the sides from 1.5 (ish) plasticard
beading applied around windows / doors
fixed using plasweld and bits of skin from the tips of my fingers

slider arrangement for luggage doors

door assembled - ledge brace and frame applied - planking scribes as per coach sides

thin plasticard with "rivets" pushed out from behind with a tiny pozidrive screwdriver and stuck on
steps fashioned from L cross section, coach bolt heads applied

Accucraft choppers fitted - 1mm holes drilled - hex bolts screwed in

painted and transfers applied
vacuum hoses, chains
brass handrails, handles and window bars

this was not planned to be a scale model of anything - just an idea based on a number of prototypical ideas from Welsh Narrow Gauge
