And that viaduct looks like a work of art in structural steel - great shots!
I think that it is a revolving Bolster so that the wagon could be used for Log Loads of others. Never seen the like of it before though. Clever lot these Sachens.

On a slightly different note, my trips abroad have been terminated for the time being now that I have Barney. Just hate to leave him even though I have a good set of Dog Sitters on board.

As Jon said, it is a log bolster with the uprights laid flat - unusual isn't it.

The VIK looked excellent Jon. Just hope LGBs rubber ruler keeps the stunted look - it really is quite short for a ten wheeler.
