electronics, computers and scratchbuilding

There were 2 diesels - in the video the smaller #13 and the picture had the front of the larger #19. Both are scratchbuilt.I like the orange dismal - is it scratch built?
The driver rotates to face the direction of travel !

Sure Greg will conform, but I suspect the Railcar has an early MyLocoSound Chip in it, they indeed sound like you suggest. I have just removed one from my Railcar and fitted a more recent one which is much better. The early ones were I believe Digitally Produced Sound, the newer ones have some element of Sampled Sound in and are much better. Though I think that the Hooter is still Digital. I reckon the Diesel in Greg's Vid is a newer Sound Unit.I liked the green and cream diesel rail motor! Sounded a bit like a stream of high-pitched farts were being made by it though.
You've either got weird ears or loudspeaker problems!I liked the green and cream diesel rail motor! Sounded a bit like a stream of high-pitched ??? farts were being made by it though.
