Sand In Demand

A new quarry in the Elmtree Valley is producing high quality sand, after successful trials conveying the sand on the narrow gauge network it was decided to up the game!

So today a new service commenced on the Main Line

I particularly like the combination of Standard Gauge (45 mm) and Narrow Gauge (32 mm) going over the bridge as well as the semaphore signalling....

How is the sand transfered from narrow to standard gauge?
It looks grand, lovely matching Pressnitzalbahn loco with the Nacco hoppers All PIKO too I presume? Good value?
