Roundhouse loco frames

Massive long shot I know,

But does anyone have any Roundhouse chassis frames they could sell? A pair per lady Ann is ideal or even any other type. They don?t sell the separately. Failing that, any other sources, and indeed sources of the frame material?

Cheers,

Simon

i have made loco frames out of steel flat that I bought from B&Q.

Unfortunately carn't post pictures 'til the weekend.

The tricky bit as far as i was concerned was getting all the axle holes in a straight line, so I built a simple jig to use on a pillar drill stand.

My regret was to go for fixed bearings and no equalisation or springing. The current Lady Anne is sprung I believe?

Brass would be easier to work. It was just thta I did not have a local stockist of the right size of brass, and because I wan't sure of my machining abilities, used the steel as a trial and it worked!
