Round Robin Postvan

If this doesn't get off the ground I've got a figure who's itching to travel the world and have his picture took. He'd be cheaper to post too.

The original van started moving on its own accord. there was no list, it just moved around and turned up. Obviously this involved personal in-put but it seemed random. It was indeed often just passed on to the next member one met, or posted, almost on a whim. - there was no list initially.

OK, maybe I am recalling it wrongly - I thought there was an initial list compiled from those that expressed an interest..... maybe the attempt at creating a list of sorts came later, once it arrived in the UK?

Jon.

Yes originally it just travelled at the whim of anybody that had it, but soon a list appeared which seemed to be ignored on occasion, but seemed to work out in the end. It would seem silly to post it to the north then back to the south only for it to go back up north the next time? so it got sent around locally first. in all the box car was away almost 5 years before coming home! and I still am amazed at the fact it never once got "lost in the post"..............Paul

Very happy to welcome it here and meet the rabbits Pebbles and Barney. And NO, they don't nibble on wagons... yet...

That might depend on where has been before, and what has been put in it!

You have too much time on your hands, Phil - surely you have some decoders to install or something....? ;)

Jon.

Yup!
Decoders to install..

"Life!.... Don't talk to me about life!"

When the time comes to send to the land of Cheeseburgers , I'd like to participate

If any of these ever get state side, I would send her around the line behind a live steamer. Just has to be in the spring to fall time frame, winter time in Indiana is normaly brutally cold, so the railway is put to bed then. If its a figure, got plenty of coaches for him/her to ride in. Mike the Aspie.
