Pretty much finished painting and weathering four of my RhB cement silo wagons. Two of them were "dirtied up" quite a bit. Based on photos I've seen of the prototypes they can't be made messy enough! The decks were painted to better resemble wood, some details were picked out then the "cement" was slopped on. I used some Floquil Dust I had on hand to represent the cement. I think it's a little too dark. Once my local hobby shop opens up again I'll get some paint that's a bit lighter.

These would be great wagons for a beginner to try out weathering. It's bound to resemble one of the real ones no matter what is done to it. I consider myself a rank novice and I think mine have turned out OK .
