Looks like very interesting stuff...... as to the weight, I reckon an 8x4 sheet of 18mm MDF or ply is not far off that, maybe even more!

Thanks for the heads-up, could have loads of applications.

Jon.

It'll be remarkable if it really is resistant to Ultra-Violet.
Just a thought.

I see that they do recycled plastic 'timber' at the bottom of the page too. Interesting and ecological baseboards, I wonder if they have a retailer in mainland europe?

It has been in use in parts of the Lake District for fencing and bridging for several years. Should be easy to work with but the price was horrendous the last time I looked.

Many 7 1/4" G clubs use it for sleepers (ties). No problem, untill someone drops a fire directly over one, but even then no great problen as long as you deal with it straight away. Wooden ones burn just as well, especially if they've been creosoted. :holdon:

Is that £51 for 10 sheets? Not too bad if you can use 10 that size.

Just seen 10 sheets of this type used as hoarding in front of a shop
It went up quite well really, burnt a lot quicker than the usual composite type boards that are used these days.

Just the Local Larger Louts, just having fun, after beeing kicked out of
their fav night club for beeing total T**T's
We get called out :eek:nphone: to make sure the resultant mess that is left
of the hoarding/building is safe.
Bring back the steel cladding, it don't burn and is virtually vandal proof
mind you with scrap prices the way they are now, it would prob disapear
over night any way:rofl:
