Just a try-out at posting a pic.
I finally finished painting my GVT wagon the other day.
This week a low tatty fence (with it`s accompanying Hawthorn hedge) has been replaced by a 6` high post and panel one. The need for this to be done has been hanging over me for a while and has put me off from doing any major work in the garden but now its done all I need is the weather to be kind (I`m typing this whilst it`s tippling with rain outside).
Re: Rebirth of the Larton Grange & Bebington railway
Time for closure of this topic, I think......
Despite my hopes the line was lifted in June whilst alterations to the garden were started; the weeds and a large tree contributing to the decision.
I had hoped to relay the line fairly quickly but the work has dragged on and inspiration was lacking.
I've decided to get stuck in and sort the garden out properly before deciding where to put the layout. I've often found working in the garden gives a "spark" that leads to renewed interest and confidence to make a start.
That said, we will be at the Llanfair show on the Saturday (more than likely I'll be spending too much, as usual ).
I'll be back..............
(sorry folks, there's no escape)
