Mike I have vast quantities of hindsight, in fact I have so much I'm going to sell my surplus off on eBay or I'm prepared to swap it in equal amounts for forward planning and memory retention.........

Evening all, I have read your comments and have since got LGB tramway post etc, a visit from Philbahn started me off I have now finished fitting in the garage and though I like the look of it I can't see it working normally as the rod moves so much, I use LGB locos,if I could find a spring to take the tension off the rod by pulling the trolley down? would that help? Les

Les you could restrict the movement of the pantograph by using fishing line.
As I told you the way to strengthen the running wire is to use a suspension cable and hangars.
Now you know why I replaced mine with the RHB type masts.
All you need do is form seven hangers and solder each one to form the correct (lgb) version then twist the suspension cable over the top of the hoop on the mast.
Don't forget I did mine over a winter period about 80 pieces 540 approx drops should only take you 10 mins

Morning Phil don't you mean 10 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have taken pics and they are on my laptop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! have a good day all Les

Looks good Trev, I have just started running this week after some time;- been too wet/cold for me. All seems to be running OK as you know run here with live overhead. Alyn
