Railway and Garden Re-configure Thread

Hi Ian
Hope your feeling a lot better was a shame you missed such a nice day may have another open day in December .
Your garden is coming on a treat will look very nice when the turf goes down will have to bring our slippers on your next open day .

Yes, or i may confine everyone to our patio lol.

Funny you should say that, but this morning i have woken without a painful throat an ears- I had taken all week off to work on the project, so i guess starting wedensday is OK. musn't over do it though!

A great shame about missing your do, I was really looking forward to it.

So big day today, the Cotswold turf people took a break from a job at an Oxford Colledge and finished mine off. I also have got over this virus so started track laying it isn't ballasted or leveled yet, but gives an impression.

Very smart Ian!

Got that Wembley look about it.... :nail:

Turf looks fantastic Ian would make a lovely bowling green

Looking good Ian. The lads should have some fun on that!

Glad to hear you're recovering from the virus too.

very smart, you should be proud of your self matey

Good Work there, it looks so much better :thumbup:

Hey Ian...put a pocket in each corner and a couple down the sides, get a set of coloured balls and teach the little 'uns to play snooker with a hockey stick!

It looks superb mate. I looked at my sorry affair of a lawn. It really needs re soiling and re-turfing...next door have done something like you have and the turf looks good enough to comb.

Hi, It looks great so far and your giving me a few ideas on how to start on mine,
keep up the good work

Looks great!!! Keep up the good work :)

Loving the new station area with that elegantly curved approach including curvy point. Very nice!

OOOh now that is good. Well done that man!

Brilliant. Great to see a new railway forming.

Don't ask me how I know.
The cats will love it will make a cat litter tray, try and put some 10mm stones down were the track does not run or some large pebbles or rocks. it will stop the rain splashing and moving the small stuff but it is looking good watching with interest
