Radius 5 points

Anyone had problems with pick up shoes jamming in the frogs of R5 points and causing derailments happens with noth a saxon mayer and Frank S

Yes, once when visiting a layout with R5 points? My V52 had the problem one one side of one of the bogies.

Check the springs in the skates. Also check that the skates are free to move/bounce and if needs must, bend them in a little until the problem is resolved....

i had the same problem so i got rid of all that titchy lgb rubbish and bought some real mans locos,,, k27s k28s etc etc

now all my trains run great ,,and loads of women want to sleep with me,,,,,,

go on , trade it in,,,, and be a man,,,,,

Problems with LGB R5s? No - I run all sorts of wheelbases through them - IVKs, Mallets, RhB 4/4 Is, IIs, IIIs, Crocs, Ruegen 0-8-0s, and a variety of different makes - KISS, LGB, BRAWA - etc etc and never a hint of any problem. It may be that some of the skates on your traction are slightly out of line - that happens quite easily; another possibility is that the points themselves are twisted or not laid flat enough in some way, but given the LGB elephant test that doesn't seem likely.
