R1 or R2

At those prices an R1 turnout is 0.97 euro per centimeter and an R3 is 0.97 euro per centimeter - so exactly the same price, per length.
(based on the R1 being 2 x 300mm and the R3 being 2 x 440mm)
 
I would suggest if you have a space that 5' or 8' wont fit try adding 1 or 2 pieces of the 4' and create a decreasing radius the engines wont mind too much and it might fit. To run a lot of 4' is pretty hard on the rolling stock much less the track it's self it's pretty much for running a train around a Christmas tree.
