The water bottle was less than a quarter full ( fortunately ) and the gas was on the last gasp
Even so the PM diesel was nearly at its limit

Sorted out r/c glitches

It's not as tolerant of lumpy track and uneven points as a RH but getting to grips with manoeuvring and shunting.

A visiting RH Jack this weekend. First run, lovely engine. Managed a few runs in horrible cold wet weather.

the ash tree is a nuisance
the gradients 1:33 make for interesting driving

Ahh, a good old ash tree. There was a big one at the old house and it caused a right mess in autumn. Love the viaduct, with the railway clinging to the embankment, rather than passing through the central arch.
