Narrow Gauge 1/12th scale on 45mm</br>Quarrying &
Found this in my shed, Think its an isolating valve off the air analysis system, used to turn off the gas in the back of an old ex BT optic cable line van I used to have.

recon it would look like a load on its way to a water/ sewage pumping station, modern type, any experts on here like to comment??

Nice. Screw it down to the truck, dirty it up and put a biohazard sign on the barrel, should make people sit up :rolf:

so what does the sign represent, please ? Puggsie

Cut suitable size piece of brass channel, drill holes for fitting, including shallow pit in top of housing

fit in terminal 'U' bits

Fit wheel & bolt thro brass channel & fix with a nut, end of bolt then snugs down into hole in housing

give it a coat of paint next to see how it looks

The triangular sign means biohazard . It is used for people with no common sense, or indeed no sense of smell !At what period of history they came in I do not know , but they were certainly used in the NHS in 1988 when I started there.
Cheers Garry

Puggsie? That's a new one, are you trying to get round me you old devil, you? :rolf:
The answer above is correct, it means a biologically hazardous material, as opposed to nuclear (three triangles) or chemical load that is hazardous. I used the irritant material as an avatar when, I'm, er, irritating.
Best ask Mel, and ask him for that shot of the respiratory gear.

N.B. the more I look at your creation the more I think I've got some plumbing junk around....and I like yours, so some plagarism might be on the way

Aha, found it myself. I'm sure Mel (YB281) won't mind me setting fire to the forum...
