Having redesigned and installed a new layout. I now wish to program new switch routes.
Can I clear the previously set routes from the Central Station? If so how.
If not, can I change the saved switch routes, 1, 2 and 3 to set new routes?

Have temporarily resolved the matter by programming three new routes 4,5 and 6.

Would still like to know how to erase previously programmed routes 1,2 and 3, in order to free them up for future use.

Any ideas?

I couldn't easily tell from the manual. I replaced my LGB station with a Roco system before I got around to trying routes.

Two things to try:
  1. Enter route programming mode (F-4), then immediately start writing a new route.
  2. Enter route programming mode, use the 'circle' button to scroll through to the entry you want to overwrite, and then set the entry.
Given that the LGB 55015 is still listed on the LGB / Marklin web site, you could also contact customer support and ask how to overwrite / delete a route.

It's a long time since I ran with MTS but yes I believe you can over write routes as it took me several attempts to set my 3 running routes on LGB I layout at my last home.

I also had route 0 to set all points straight and route 9 to set all points to diverge.

Useful for confirming everything is working before a running session....
