Programming Lgb With Massoth Module

Hi Mark
Just install a MASSOTH Decoder (LS, XLS...) in your LGB Loco and put it on the track and connect the PC Module to the track. Download Massoth Service Tool and start programming.
You may have already a DCC installer installed on your loco. In that event, you don't need to open the loco, by looking at one of the CV (I don't remember the number) you will get the Manufacturing ID directly in the Massoth Service Tool. The detailed instructions for that operation are on the Massoth Web site (in the Wikisite)

You will only be able to change the CV settings on non Massoth brand decoders. The latest Massoth service tool has profiles for older LGB decoders (55021/22/27, Large onboard. 55024/25 switch decoders and the 6500x sound module).

Connect the loco to the PC module and click the CV icon, then click New from the "Decoder CV Values" and then "Read Decoder" from the Create new decoder dialog - it should then try and identify the decoder. If it does not correctly identify the decoder you can select the decoder manufacturer and type from the drop downs. You can then hit the "Read All" button to laod the CV values from the decoder and change them as you wish (I suggest writing the values back individually as you change them rather than using write all).
