A view of Lorquon with a couple of boxcars in the loop.

Hi John,
All the buildings are scratchbuilt bar one, some better than others. Most of the town buildings at Possum Point need a repaint and a few minor repairs due the weather. All the station buildings are copies of Victorian Railways depending on location.
I have always been a fan of the Wimmera wheat line in Victoria so I chose the line from Jeparit to Yanac which closed in the late 70's. The main traffic is wheat either bulk loading or container. Containized wheat loading has been a recent change for the Hong Kong market and gives me excuse to run container trains.
Cheers
Peter.

Thanks Grant,
Have had few problems with swelling, all the weather boards are indivually cut from balsa wood sheets and are glued on exterior ply with exterior PVA glue. Undercoated with oil based undercoat and painted with waterbased paint. I am about to repaint using oil based paints as I have tried this on one building (the Post Office) and it has not faded and seems to be holding its own against the weather.
The building in pic 4 has full interior (why I don't Know as no one see's it) which replicated the up side (left off signalbay) at Cheltenham/Frankston line.
The interior has the following:
Booking office/ticket cabinet dater
Parcels office with counter parcel rack
Station Master office with table chair coat rack etc.
ladies toilet with etc!!!
Signalbox is the same:
12 Lever Frame (non working)
Block Bench
Block Instruments
Table & Chair, clock etc, again a bit pointless as no one see's them but I know there their.
Possum Point A Box was decommissioned and removed at the weekend when power signalling was installed.
Cheers
Peter.

Loco depot at Possum Point.
Give the geeps a coat of VR blue with a yellow stripe and VR chevrons front and rear and they wouldn't be far off a T class.
