Playmobil station platforms

It's amazing how many platform ramps 4370 I've seen for sale on ebay UK and DE but I don't think I've seen any of the actual platforms.

Odd that but no doubt there's an explanation?

I think people want more of the platforms proper as it were to build long platforms or wide platforms to take the shelter.

The reason you do not see any platforms is that they require three sections. The top and the sides and the corners for the sides.
The tops are still available from Playmobil but not the sides.
However if you look at sets 4304 or 6343 that has a full platform with a spacer at the bottom for the track this section is still available from Playmobil.
The spare part number is 30 25 5770 and is priced at £4.15 in the U.K.
