45mm Turnout for Garden Railway Track System by arockStone
After att total rebuild off my Turnout 32mm it's finally here. Turnout for 45mm gauge tracks (SM45) common used in Garden railways (16mm and LGB scale). The turnout radius are 1150mm and a steeper radius curved track is included . I will be very glad if you publish pictures off your printings.

Those look neat! I'd be interested to see a bit more about how the switch works. (I wonder if it has the similar "springiness" when switching tracks like the brass version has. I'm experimenting with these; an "omega" shaped control rod should provide some "springiness"

Finally got the prints tuned. My ender 5 plus takes about 4 times as long to complete a single curve Vs the X1 which can print two curve halves in about a quarter of the time.
Handy to have the ender still working away in the background though.
But downside is the ender is only really suitable for PLA. Printing in Apollo X ASA makes track sections too expensive.
The join can still be seen but isn't very noticeable in the ASA version printed on the X1.
Using a bowtie to lock the two halves together.
Both PLA and ASA versions have a countersunk M3 screw hole under the track connector recess at either end.
Even reducing the amount of material, the sensible way would be to use track adapters with brass rail R2 curves. But that's assuming you already have surplus brass track.
I unfortunately don't, so this makes more sense for me.
