Piko sound decoder & Massoth xl

Hi all,

I’m currently adding sound to my piko 218 by fitting a piko 36191 sound module, has anyone fitted it to a Massoth xl via the susi connection? If so is it just a case of plug in and go?

Theoretically, yes..
Though altering the programming might be a problem? - I take a jaundiced view of 'interoperability', especially if two different manufacturers are involved..

If you lock the XL, before trying to change any CV's on the Piko, then you should be safe.

Personally, I would set up the address and speed-steps, on the Piko separately, then connect it to the XL, and see how you get on.
