I´ll try it with one pic, first

So, it works...
.....this is the renewed bridgehead from the junction down to tuckerville, wich station was finally reopened after years.
The old construction was made completely out of wood, but it went wet and collapsed more and more. So i decided to go for the safe alternative that should make it for 30 years.

Next pic shows the new junction. The middle branch is the old line up to Emerald, on the right side the new line grows. The switch and the old line will go when the new line is on duty.

This shows the new bridgehead of the upper branch

This is from the upper side, showing both new bridgeheads on the junction. On the very right side the line goes down to Tuckerville (driving towards the viewer), the left line is the new part heading up for Emerald.
In direction of sight the line leaves the junction for Vallecito.

Today, i filled up the box for the upper brigdehead of the new line.

First pic shows the filled box.

after a couple of hours, i could "free" it.
If u look carfully at where the ballast stones are ("foot" ofthe bridgehead) u can see a ledge or sill. On this base i can decide to give the bridgehead a wooden or a "brick"-cover.

last pic shows the line of sight along the new (coming) bridge. Not sure if ti will become a completely wooden trestle or if i will make "steelgirders" that lies on wooden trestle-piles. It will have a length of 1,20m (about 4 feet), so we will get 6 parts and 5 piles.

I hope to get some more pics the next days from arround the line. There are e.g. 2 watertowers on the way, and i hope to show them till next weekend.
