Hi all......running into problems with Pico BR80 and Taurus motors idler gear......shipping ex U.S. absolutely ridiculous...appreciate info from U.K. / Oz Members re suppliers....Regards Mardy.

Disappointing that the Piko online shop is only interested in deliveries to European countries by the look of it, so that doesn't help you.
I've used www.petersspares.com for Piko parts in the past, but they only cover N and HO not large scale.
PS - do make sure you search for Piko (not Pico) when you're hunting for suppliers!

I have them (or rather I have one pack, just sold several so need to stock up again). From memory the oart number is 36181, and it gives you one idler, one geared axle centre and one plain axle centre, so you need two packs to do a whole block.
Shipping to Oz is no problem, you even get the VAT back (VAT free about £3,33/pack), but postage is a killer - to comply with Paypal T&C's you need proof-of-delivery and that's going to be closer to £10 than £5, maybe more - depends if they'll squeeze into a 'large letter' or not.

Thanks for reply...Currently doing major track job dropping incline a few cm. which I hope will reduce wear on motors....Will then check
