I've just about completed a 7/8ths model of a Ruston diesel. Slightly unusual is that it is 3D printed; it needed spraying and flatting to get a smooth finish, but wasn't too difficult. They also make a 16mm version. I have no connection with the manufacturer, but am happy to report that assembly was straightforward.

Can't say that I had heard of this company before - thanks for the info.
The Baldwin petrol tractor does look rather tempting.............

They don't think RC can be fitted to the little one..

Bring it on!

They make some really interesting looking models, shame most are for 32mm only, I would really like one of the 4-6-0 Hunslets. Great job finishing the kit, you'd never tell the panels were printed under that paint.

Well, we could always approach them to scale it up??

Surely that is one of the beauties of the technology?

Scaling up is not really the issue. As a rule 16mm Models are OK sizewise for our scale, if anything sometimes a bit big. Issue of course is the Gauge which is where we go back to that old chestnut the LGB Ruber Ruler!

Good to see one of these built and finished - I did consider buying one but in the end commissioned Peter to do me a custom chassis - I'm building a Simplex 40S in 7/8ths.
