Very well trained! Dra. Estrecha (SWMBO) pursues me with a Dyson whenever I come in from the garage after fine tuning a building, trailing little white bits of plastic! ;D Come to think of it, she does that even when I haven't been.

Having a good roof really does help envisage the finished article.

greetings all  Martyn your comment on the roof set me thinking and  i agree a  roof is no good on its own so here is the said foundation not finished yet by any means but as foundations go  do ou think this will be ok  :- :- ;) ;) ;)

the twin gable side faces the platform and the single gable will be what you will see when you arrive in your limmo to catch 7 45 to the city to face another day at the office :) :) :)

You could put it on your line as it is with a few building materials around it and it will pass as the station under construction. Looking good.

Malcolm

That's a fine old cast iron garden table you are using as a work bench, oh.. and the station building is not bad either.

David

Now that is cool, great canopy, great looking valence, home made? :)

Almost there! Well done with the canopy - I had planned to have a small one on my new station but the complex geometry of a straight station frontage and curved platform defeated me! Mine has another week or so to completion - so who will get the 'in situ' pics up first? :D ;D

hi martyn thats easy i have at least another month at least but thank you for your interest it makes my bogeling more interesting and is much appreciated thank you

what is it with the trades these days the painters turned at 8 45 an and have just ieft and its not quite 16 30  er well we have to get back to the office by 16 45 to clean up gov  mind they did paint all the canopy  three coats of white gloss should  be ok for ten years gov  yes i know and 5 mugs of tea  each lasted all of 10 mins per mug
still got  to admit they did a good job really well that`s the story so far and im sticking too it

Marvellous - fits in excellently there and the platforms look great too ;D Adding the lamps will finish it off a treat. And you beat me to it - mine is about 24 hours behind you, weather permitting!

didnt know it was a race my friend but you will still be the winner as yours will be the finished total where as mine wont be for some time yet as i still have a lot of work to do yet

No, not a race, Malcolm, but I've followed your progress with a lot of interest and it has chivvied me along when enthusiasm for my own interminable project was found lacking! Putting out new station is very satisfying, as I hope to discover for myself tomorrow. :D

Thats a great job,the station lamps will finish it off to perfection, any little folk going on the platform? :) :)
