And they are quite honest... good to deal with 2.... I complained that my stuff had not arrived 2 weeks after they said it was posted and they immediatly and without arguement sent another lot off, now I have 2 for the price of 1....
Errr Trevor.... perhaps send the first set back.............U honest 2?? :rolf::rolf:

Currently sat at a warehouse full of unpainted figures, paint and associated gear , all be it in a much smaller scale....... Must be twice the size of an average tescos outta town store all for little lead figures!!! (warhammer)

Re undercoat, I tryed white, black and grey and the Tamiya spray undercoat/primer for plastic and metal gives me the best results. Its a pale grey and has very good adhesion to plastic...... easier to cover than starke white and leaves no harsh shadows like the black. Mind you this suits me, maybe not for everyones tastes and to a degree the colours your overpainting with will effect the outcome...

McDonald's happy meals have some figures at the moment. The Charles Darwin is good the others are pirates and require major cosmetic surgery.
He could pass for I.K. Brunel with a repaint, I have the fellow in the tricorn hat & wooly scarf to butcher at the moment.

Not nessesarily needed to do these changes.... They could be passengers..... I recal with much amusement seeing in Carlysle St St Kilda a W2 carrying a load of extras in costume to the Old national theartre.... It was obviously some Wagnerian performance as they had Viking helments on... Looked quite spectactular. I'll have to dig out the colour slides shows a load of vikings disembarking...

Ooh I can feel a golf course coming on!! I now know what old 1 suger see's in it. Is that an "Andrea" figure?

For the pirate figures you could get a USA Tains pirate rum reefer

The golfer chic makes my crowd pale into insignificance....

I found one of those figures (sunbather on towel, unpained) in my figures box - It must've been there for best part of a decade!

I should really get it painted up!

Ah, Glasshopper, my Google-Fu is strong today....
For those of you interested in such naughty things, with a bit of searching I have tracked down where the old Phoenix Phollies range ended up after they were sold off on Phoenix's closure - they are now being produced by a French model soldier manufacturer, here:

http://www.metal-modeles.com/page_F...&id_categorie_principale=60&recherche=ok.html < Link To http://www.metal-modeles....&recherche=ok.html

They seem to have pretty much the whole range of the 80-90mm Phollies and others, including the "schoolgirl" with the icecream and the French Maid already "featured" in this thread.
They're flippin' expensive, but at least they are still available!

Jon.

I have a nice new beach with only three figures on it if she fancies a holiday
