I obtained a cheap Lehmann battery sound tender with the intention of using it with my Stainz loco then decided Otto would be a better match and easier to remove the cab for surgery.
As it was it was a simple job to remove the forward water tanks and remove the cab rear panel. I filled in where the original cab access doors were and relocated the tanks back to the rear corners of the cab. It`s still a bit rough and the paint job is just to assess the effect, it needs more filling and finishing off but works OK.
