Operating the GWLR in 2012

Although still holiday time an oil train ran today and became the first train of 2012.
As certain restictions are still in place during the protracted replacement of the lines suspension bridge the train was photgraphed at Milburn station.

The permanent way gang have had a busy few days but the thanks to their efforts the railway is fully operational again.

With more time available than expected by the engineering team work has commenced on the oil terminal
