If you check out the seller only 98.5% positive but has got a high transaction total, but obviously not got any clues as to LGB pricing.

This occurs quite frequently with Model railway items on eBay ( not limited to G scale)

On some occasions it is possible to find items listed at ridiculously low prices by the unknowledgeable ( I have bought some)

so it does work both ways.

If some one is silly enogh not to check prices before making a purchase then that is their problem .

I have sold quite a few items on eBay which have sold for more than they could be obtained for new.

A good example being a 00 loco which had a starting price of around £40,00 it was freely avaiable for around £70.00 it sold for almost £90.00, the ironic thing here being the cact the seller lived around 5 miles from Hattons in Liverpool.

So I must be a Chancer then
