Hi Lads, I am about to start building a small layout in the garden, I have just got an old type LGB spreewald loco, can this be converted to r/c ok? I have been looking into the deltang stuff? Rx65 with a myloco sound set up? would this be ok? thanks glen

Hello Glen,
Welcome to the Forum.. In theory, yes it can be done.. How difficult really depends on how old it is? - Very early models have a different motor-block. Not impossible, but just needs a little more work to 'make it so'. ;):)

Quite convertable, look at some of the Battery Conversions already done on this Forum. My work on a LGB 20761(99-5005) should give you some tips. Your Spreewald should be a little easier more space inside for all the gubbins.
