New Year, New engine!

The Westleigh Light Railway has just taken delivery of a new engine. The management decided to try it out this morning in the frost and snow.
The engine, a Roundhouse Atlantic gave an impressive display of steam in the cold morning air. Progess was slow due to ice on the rail resulting in much slipping.

Once the ice had been removed from the rails, a more sure footed run was achieved this afternoon.
The management declared themselves happy with the new machine.
