Work got under way yesterday with a new point being fitted ready for the new loop :D

But then came trouble with the big Indian Chief SWMBO putting a holt to the project as she doesn't like how it's going to look :wits:
Need help from Genral Sherman to sort out the Indians :eek:nphone:
So at the moment i have two rather short sidings :crying:

GOOD NEWS The Rio Grande have found a new route to by pass the Rockery Ridge Pass  General Sherman (ME) was in talks with Indian Chief (SWMBO ) the line could not run across Indian territory (THE LAWN) .
The point on the incline was moved 3ft back taken out a bush so that the wall along the lawn edge was alot lower and didn't look like a hump . The line is to rejoin the mainline in the new log yard behind the trellis avoiding the lawn :D

What, Richie...a whole week of holiday!! Going at the rate that you have been expanding recently....that should mean that you now have three parallel tracks running around and across the garden, up the path, through the house, into the garage and back out again!
I have been kitting out the garage conversion with racking, wifi, alarms etc and then storing the stuff that needs to be stored . Not even looked at the layout or other things (except for keeping lead acid gel batteries topped up with charge) for nearly four weeks now. Will soon rectify that....lots of projects are backing up like a string of cars in a loco emergency stop.

Hi Mike
Been a busy man this week had to take up the kitchen floor and relay a new one been shopping in Shrewsbury with Sara and a couple of days doing brick work for the new line . Spent yesterday sorting out the electrics so i can now run two trains at once one round the old layout the other round the garden, started to ballast the new track just have the section next to the wall to finish . I don't think i will get planning for any more track so i think this will be my lot .
