Having problems with a couple of the new Massoth s decoder..

They appear to program fine, and I can read/write CV's etc. but when I put track power on them and attempt to get any output, nothing.
Also, am unable to write to CV7 to reset the decoder. :-(

**Using the Massoth PC module and sound-files freshly downloaded from the s decoder section of the Massoth download site.**

Any ideas?
Am programming with a sound-file I know works in another decoder at the moment.
Phil.

Have you tried re-programming these new decoders with the original sound file Phil?

This will at least help us diagnose if it's a hardware or a software problem....

I had tried two different sound-files last night. - Both with same result.. BUT, they were both 'new' ones I needed but had not used before.
I have just successfully loaded a diesel file to one of them..
Have re-downloaded one of the sound-files I want (Frank-S) and am loading to the second decoder as I write this..

Looking as if it was a duff sound-file, or duff download..
Will know more in about 20 minutes..

Thanks for the input,
Phil.

Now working!!
Strangely, connecting programmed decoder to track power (off) and then turning track power on, nothing.. No response to F keys or throttle advance.
However, disconnect from track, turn on track power and then connect decoder and the 'shock' of volts up it made it burst into life.

Another unexplained mystery of computer driven technology!
