New from Roundhouse

I see Roundhouse have updated their website with a couple of new locos.
Karen in live steam, and Little John in battery diesel.
Presumably on show at Peterborough.

I wish they would update it so I can save it as a "Favourite", all I seem to get is part of the front page.

Like that Karen, though a touch expensive, wonder what the delivery lead is.

Here she is. Comes with glazed windows, water gauge and top off system.
Limited Batches are available for 2013 and will as usual fill up fast.

And another example of one of the WHHR's similar locos is currently in Boston Lodge Works for the Lynton and Barnstable.

The two new locos look very nice. It is good to see them raising their game and making locos that look like proper models as well as running well.

Built for the Selukwe Light Railway In Southern Rhodesia. (Zimbabwe).

Hmm, I like. Looks not unlike, except for the outside frames, to a Peckett that operated by Portland Cement here in NZ.

It looks a bit like the Cambletown and Macrihanish locos minus one driving axle, and they've only just stopped making those :thinking:

'Tis a Peckett. Virtually the same as the main line one's, except that the wheels are Inside the frames instead of out.
