New Fom LGB

Cheesy yes - but it is a very good replica of the car that is actually currently running on special trains.

Are we all on the wagon now

I have a 'call back' booked with Modell-land and have not heard anything yet.

Three emails received today - it is in stock at Modell-land - allegedly.

Are there any pictures or videos of the new E kuppler yet ? (Besides the stock side elevation picture)

Need to see it before I buy it.....

It should appear sometime this week - after the first few buyers run them.
I'll do another search on Tuesday/Wednesday and post here if I find anything.

Thanks for these. I don't have and don't want a facebook identity so I would never come across these.

PS LGB.com now showing these in stock.

Yes, thanks Paul - like Dave, I don't use Farcebook so it's good to see the pics here!
It does look an impressive beast. The rivetted tank sides help to make the loco look more "interesting" compared with ones that have featureless welded tanks.

Looking at the underneath photo I found it difficult to judge how exactly they were articulating the drivers although it is obviously so. With the Hartz 2-10-2 I have often thought that if they could fix center driver and articulate the motor blocks either end we could get away from the hideous overhang of the arse end.

That pretty much looks like what they've done here with the new 0-10-0, Chas..... looks to me like both the front and rear parts of the gearbox are pivoted, and the centre drivers "drift" sideways according to the position of the two gearbox blocks. Should prove to be a better way of doing it than the 2-10-2, I feel?
