That's great that his daughter has finshed it off. You'll enjoy it Mel and get ideas, but I am not sure you have that much to learn on this subject, you could write a book your self lol.....

Always things to learn Ian. :bigsmile:

Thing is though mate I've not really got much room for many more buildings - if only I was re-building part of the garden! :thumbup::thumbup:

Who needs a list? I've bought it (note- £5 off when ordered from the website). I'll let you know what it's like when it arrives.

So it's now off the top of your wants list then :bigsmile::bigsmile:
Yes mate, Ferrari Daytona goes back to No.1. :rolf::rolf:

It looks like a great book to get. I loved his article on the steelworks that he created in 'Garden Railway' magazine. I recently got the Kalmbach 'Building Structures for your Garden Railway' which has some good methods and ideas. The Peter Jones book would sit very nicely alongside the Kalmbach edition I think....mmmmm...just off to drop a few hints I think

Pre-ordered through Amazon :thumbup:

Thanks Mel - it'll give me an excuse to feign innocence to SWMBO when it eventtually arrives ;)

S'funny - I started my christmas list yesterday. Garret, mallet, saxon meyer, Massoth 1200Z - you know the sort of thing. Add a book to it - I might get that!

Now I wonder how the list will compare to reality - have to use the Relations-Dictionary, here we are......

Garret = socks
Mallet = handerchieves
Saxon Meyer = jumper
Massoth = aftershave (of a particularly nasty kind)

Can't find the book......

:bigsmile:
